> Larry Tremper, D.O. has made an impact on the southwest region since 1980, initially as an Army Pediatrician at William Beaumont Army Medical Center and now as the only Board Certified Pediatric Pulmonologist in private practice in El Paso, Texas. He graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1980. Dr. Tremper became a Fellow of The American Board of Pediatrics in May 1985, continued on with specialty training for his Fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonary at the University of California in San Diego and is board certified in Pediatric Pulmonology since July 1989.

With hospital privileges at The Hospitals of Providence, Las Palmas Hospital and El Paso Children’s Hospital, Dr. Tremper manages his patients and those referred by other physicians throughout their hospitalization, including intensive care and ventilator support (if needed) and out-patient follow-up during exacerbation of disease.

> Price Lawhon, M.S., PA-C is an experienced Physician Assistant coming to our practice in September, 2015 from William Beaumont Department of Pediatrics at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas.  He received his B.S. from Stanford University and M.S. from New Mexico State University, both in the biological sciences.  He then moved to Chicago to obtain his Physician Assistant degree from Cook County Hospital in 2003.  He began his career in Family Practice with the Sisters of Charity working at La Clinica Guadalupana in Horizon City, TX until 2008. Price also worked in general pediatrics for Dr. Carlos Gutierrez in 2008 and 2009.  He is from Silver City, New Mexico but has put down roots in El Paso for more than 15 years.

Gabriel R. Ortiz, MPAS, PA- C has been a Physician Assistant in Allergy and Asthma since 1991. He received his Masters of Physician Assistant studies in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine from the University Of Nebraska Medical Center in 1999. Gabe is Co-founder and past president of the American Academy of Physician Assistants in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Gabe is the former Liaison from the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI) and the AAAAI Liaison to the AAPA. He is also the former AAPA Liaison to the NIH-NAEPP-Coordinating Committee. He has served as chair or co-chair for several PA and NP conferences and has given numerous lectures at local, state and national conferences including the AAAAI. In February 2008, Gabe was awarded the recognition of Distinguished Fellow of the AAPA. In March 2015 the AAPA appointed him to the NIH/NIAID- Diagnosis and Management of Food Allergy to address prevention of peanut allergy coordinating committee. He joined Thermo Fisher Scientific on January 3, 2017.
